Legolas and Gimli by Cargsdoodles

I've been a L/G shipper for a fair while now, though I only read them sporadically and I'm very picky about how they are portrayed. I scrolled past this on Tumblr and had to scroll back up and stare. This is the modern/hipster L/G AU I never realized I wanted. The aesthetic is perfect - and works sooooooo well for both Gimli and Legolas. Suddenly I want fic like burning based on this!!!! When checking for credit, I see she has a bunch of other pictures in this AU, so will have to check them out.

Her art is really nice, so even if this doesn't turn your crank, she has other things in her art tag worth a look.

If there was fic, I would read it. This is perfectly 'them'. Really would like to know what they're talking about, if they've just arrived or if they're leaving... So right!

Doesn't even have to be a pairing fic, I'd take a friendship fic too.

It'd be interesting if they were just arriving, how on earth did that chemistry just appear - though leaving probably makes more sense.
