These are from Steph. I resolved I'd post them today. :D
1. How did you find the LOTR fandom? Back before I knew about fandom or fanfiction or any of the proper terms, I followed the LoTR fansites and I read RPF of them, my first exposure to online fiction. Then I found and read The Very Secret Diaries, and I was oddly fascinated about the things hinted at between Leggie and Gimli. So I found FF.net and read a lot of stories, found my way to Library of Moria, read almost everything on the archive, then while looking around the site, I found a banner promoting the Erestor Yahoo group. That was my true first experience with fandom, and I'll never forget those times.
2. Who is your ultimate OTP from LOTR, who could read about all the time?
The pairing I could read about all the time is Erestor/Glorfindel. They're very versatile and most stories with them I can at least find a few qualities I can identify with. My ultimate OTP is Glorfindel/Gil-galad, but there aren't too many stories with them around so hard to read all day. :D
3. What kinds of television shows do you watch/like? What is your one favorite?
Um - Drop Dead Diva, Camelot, No Reservations, Game of Thrones, Top Chef, X-files, Leverage, Downton Abbey, Shameless... I have to say my taste is pretty eclectic.
4. Do you like to cook? If so what is your favorite meal to make?
I love to cook! I'd have to say chicken marsala is my favorite or steak fahitas. It's really hard to narrow it down to one meal. I like it all, just don't make me clean up after too. :D That's my idea of heaven, no dishes after cooking.
5. Do you have red hair? For real I always think of a tall red haired woman when I see your username. I always joke with Kei that to me she will always be a woman with long brown haired and fairy wings like the icon she uses :)
Wait.......you mean she isn't a tall, dark-haired woman with pretty, sparkly wings? My life is a lie!!!
I do have red-gold hair, yes. It's with the help of a bottle, unfortunately. I had light blonde hair for a third of my life, then this really pretty dark gold with red hints for the other third, and then the last third has been mousey brown and I loathe it. My thought is I was always meant to have red hair so I have it now. Also I'm 5'9" so I think by most standard people I'm tall too? I'm always around people who are taller than me, though so I never feel tall, just average.
So yes, tall and red haired. :D

Date: 2011-07-19 07:42 am (UTC)Your words about height reminded me of my usual thoughts on rock concerts. *lol* I am 1.70 m (5'7"), and when I am on the concert, I usually say that "I now officially hate all the persons taller than 6'2"." And somehow, many of those happen to stand in front of me. *lol*

Oh yes, you have such wonderful luck. Sounds a bit like mine - I actually have two brothers taller than 6'2, and two of the people I work with as well. I never feel tall!
