1. cate blanchett:
   strong, beautiful and I think a very good actress - not my personal view of gladdy, but she did a good job never the less - her role in elizabeth was fascinating.
2. elves:
   oh, god - what can I say about them? strong, beautiful, brave, immortal creatures - who might not have it as put together as you might think, but they are amazing.
3. erestor:
   there've been a lot of fics about him, and I must say I hate the Fandom Erestor. he is a female wrapped in a odd looking male's body. But I love Master Erestor's Erestor, lol, Kei's Erestor - who is gorgeous as well as smart, real, sharp, clever - and very much a male.
4. fanfics:
   well, I wouldn't be here if I didn't like them, would I? I used to read quite a bit but now I barely read anything. it's sad.
5. glorfindel:
   My favorite elf. love him so much. strong, beautiful, and I have his whole life story somewhere in the back of my mind that eventually I will write, even if by that time I have grandkids and no one gives a crap, lol.
6. long hair:
   I love it. I realized this at an interesting age, when I was watching this cartoon and a male character jumped into time and became this tall, long haired fellow - I was interested immediately, lol. I think it is very gorgeous, realistically I might not go for a guy with hair down to his waist, but definitely enough to run your hands through - yes, I have a hair fetish of sorts.
7. movies:
   I admit I like books better than movies, but a good movie sometime really works. and I wouldn't have been here without the LOTR movie. I don't think in movie verse anymore, and have moved onto books - but I probably wouldn't have picked up tolkien without the movies first. And that would have been a shame
8. reading:
   A whole series of worlds right at your fingertips to enjoy and experience - fantasy, real life, science fiction, mystery, whatever - anything you could ever want to read, you can find. and you can escape from your life a bit. what is not to like?
9. susan cooper:
   An excellent storyteller - I don't think her technical writing is brilliant sometimes - but the pictures she can paint with her words and her imagination is capitivating. not as good as tolkien - (no elves, if it had elves, I would have been so sold - LOL) but good in her own right nevertheless.
10. the corrs:
    the moment I want to get a little sappy, I admit I turn on Breathless. and Borrowed Heaven is my favorite song of their latest cds - I like the slightly poppy/irish sound, always have.

So keep writing Glorfindel's story. It's off to a wonderful start with Blue and I really want to read more. Oh, yes, of course, you haven't posted Blue yet, have you? Because Someone told you to write more before you posted it, right? And you listened. So write more!

I'm smart - I don't cross that Someone, and I won't post it until Blue has at least one more fic alongside it - it depends. and I will write more, I will. just not right now not until at least a week after may 17th. may the day be forgotten and wiped off the earth
