drabble for kei

sorry for being slow - I intend on getting the drabbles done before the weekend. I'm pushing through writer's block.

For: Kei

Interest: Glorfindel - sort of?

You are warm, soft sunshine with a smile for anyone, a ready laugh, and a sparkle in your blue eyes. I watch you quietly, as always and I realize what I have done. I was afraid you would go away, I tried to keep you near, to make you commit to me. I tried to catch the sunshine, But just like the sun, I cannot make you stay. You are the light, but you have left none for me. You slipped through my fingers the harder I held. I should not have tried. Will you ever let someone catch you?

Thank you, dear. It does mean a lot. It's kind of weird how this one came out, but I've very happy with it - even if it is sad. I'm really glad you enjoyed.

I love it! I'm wondering if I've correctly guessed whose P O V you're reflecting here, but that doesn't impact on the actual piece. Very beautiful, very sad. I think the first line is a perfect description. I'm wondering yet again why you don't write more Thank you so much, dear - it's very special.
