I haven't said anything about this whole LJ/6A business, because I have split views about it all. However, there is an article here. It brings an unbiased opinion to the table, and presents the facts, both good and bad for both sides. It also has some very informative links at the end. (i.e. Permanent account donations to the charities.)

I think it is worth a few moments of people's time.

Thanks for the link. That clarifies it all nicely. I was going on the posting here. I like that it is by an LJ user but it is balanced.

I have opinions that go on both sides of this....um, discussion? fandom is having. I think this is the clearest, because it's right in between and presents the facts as they are - not as they see them, or how they want them to be.
