Going to the library and finding that it does in fact have Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, and Fire from Heaven by Mary Renault. I didn't think of looking there, we have such a small town library, didn't expect it, but stumbled on them. Happiness! I've found e-books of them, but actually having the book in hand is so much better.

Also got filed an inter-library loan for the two other George R. R. Martin books, as I finished the first two. Which means it could be here in two weeks, or four months or whatever.

Happen to be famous at our library, lol. Big reader.

Have you ever read Renault? This is my first time, though she's come very highly recommended by then.

Sure! I'd really like someone to talk about it, and I liked our other one. I like this series very much - the books aren't going to show up soon enough!!

Their is nothing quite like that moment of a book newly in hand that you really, really want to read...

I agree! Have you ever read Good Omens? I'm reading it now and the wit in this is soooo funny.

What a lovely icon.

No, not read it but will be looking again at it, because of your comment. I've seen it and not really got past the cover and the vague idea it was like Terry Pratchett, which I loved, or taking the piss out of Lord of the Rings. I forget now.

I do like satire, but don't really know where the book falls. I must have another look :)

Got it today!!! Dark, it's so gorgeous! And very creative. I think I'm going to loop some string on it and hang it up on my mirror. Thank you so much, truly. I feel blessed.

Chocolate's awesome - my very favorite chocolate are the lips though, never seen that before, I like it!
