first post of the year

Well, it's only a week late. I have a hard time believing it's a New Year. Christmas went by in a blur, I didn't start feeling like it was Christmas until a day or two before.

Part of that was starting my new job, the other part was working on Slashy Valentine - that was a big time crunch! And not over yet, I still need to organize betas for people. I signed up for a story, left that until absolutely last minute because I wasn't sure if I was going to try to write a story too on top of it all this year.

Obviously, I am a masochist. I need to get a word counter up. Expect full-fledged panic in 1...2...3...

Anyway, 2010. Had its good moments, had its bad moments. It set the foundation for 2011, in a lot of ways, and I'm tentatively hopeful about 2011.

I should commit to posting this year in the lj - I've got mostly birthday wishes for 2010. Though I'm set for my New Year's resolution. I am committed to writing more. :D

I'm a graphic designer/secretary for a non-profit organization. Nice people, and I enjoy the work.

Well, we'll see how the whole swap thing goes. It isn't over yet, I'm still waiting to see what pops up! Congrats on being so quick with your swap fic. There are a few people this year who seem inspired. *g*

Try posting once a week. Even if it's one line. This is my goal (besides fiction and bday wishes, that is) Which reminds me - it used to be fiction, bday banners and memes ----- where have all the memes gone??

I feel like I have all the time in the world to write this fic, and I know I need more than usual. Scare me? Please?

I miss the edit function, I really do. That and icons. My layout and my icons aren't working, I need to do a whole refresh, set myself up again properly.

You're making me itch to find some old memes now. I think G has some stashed away somewhere. I don't know where they went. Maybe we complained about them too much and the universe listened?
